About the Department

The department of Geography is located on the Ground floor of the Science building of Ranaghat College. It is one of the leading departments of Ranaghat College. It was initiated primarily as a teaching department for General course and Honours Course was started in 2002. A good number of books and journals relating to Geography are available for the students in our Central Library and the Departmental Library.
